About ECC Philippines

Every Community for Christ (ECC) is the church multiplication catalyst for One Mission Society, serving through biblically-based teams in more than 50 countries. These teams work within the context of partnership with denominations or church associations to start church planting movements to grow healthy churches that will multiply. These joint ventures are commuted to train the trainers in 12 church multiplication principles in the 4 levels of church planting:Pioneer Evangelism, Church Planting, Church Multiplication, and Saturation Church Planting

In the Philippines, ECC partners with local churches, denominations, organizations, church, and ministerial associations. Train and Multiply is the method being used in leadership training and church multiplication.

ECC used to work with only one denomination, Faith Evangelical Church of the Philippines (FECPI). They used to plant churches for FECPI since the 1980s.

In the early 2000s, ECC explored church planting movements and had a vision of planting churches throughout the Philippines, but this vision was too broad for only FECPI. When ECC started to see the needs of other churches in the provinces which are lacking in resources, ECC proposed to share their resources with these other churches and FECPI, allowing ECC to train and foster those churches.

In 2013, Every Community for Christ (ECC) began the systematic training of its ECC paid workers in Train and Multiply (T&M) Launch and Develop, basic coaching, and interactive adult learning design and facilitation skills. Today, they have grown to the fourth generation of T&M trainers. They have increased to over 120 lay leaders, while reducing their paid workers.

They have developed a growing Value Adding Network (VAN) by partnering with other churches and denominations to provide T&M training and help develop their networks. ECC already has a ministry presence in four of the five geographical areas: Tarlac, Pangasinan, Leyte, and West Samar. After Typhoon Yolanda hit the Tacloban area in November, 2013, ECC sent a team to Tacloban to help with the recovery. In less than 3 years, they have planted 11 new worshipping groups, have 14 trained lay leaders, and developed 5 T&M trainers.

ECC has a strong, healthy student ministry on the campus of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University developing group leaders to the 3rd and 4th generation, while starting other student ministries University developing group leaders to the 3rd and 4th generation, while starting other student ministries on campuses in the targeted area. ECC is also training and coaching ministry leaders in Israel and Malaysia. ECC in the Philippines is well equipped to launch a saturation project in the five targeted provinces and in the streams of student ministry and overseas foreign workers.

ECC was officially registered as a legal entity under securities and exchange commission in October 2018.
